Oohh… i just got back from a wholesome restday. Awww… were you disappointed? Lol.
Last Saturday I met up with Sarah, a friend back in high school and she had coffee while I had my Amaretto fix blended with milk at the BeanHopper’s in Crossroads, Banilad. We were perfectly situated right outside Vudu’s exit and got to see everybody coming out and in which means Joey and his friend, Jerry didn’t have an excuse to not see us ESPECIALLY *Boo and *Jan – two of my beau’s friends along with their bros who are getting their way thru the crowd. Boo tapped me on the shoulder even if I pretended to not notice him. I had no choice but to introduce him to my friends. He saw Sarah and me with two men I wonder if he must have been thinking if we were pairing up, I shudder at the thought.
What also made my hair stand on their end is the official uniform of that night: asymmetrical tops (think: one-shoulder) in sheer or jersey with long torsos that hugs their hips.
They were everywhere! The only differences these girls have are the blings they piled on their necks and their madeup faces – take them off and its going to be a remake of George’s Luca’s Attack of The OneShouldered Clones. *bbrrrr* I am so disappointed with Cebu. Hmph. I expected more from these ladies. Well, since I was with a girlfriend, I decided to play it low-key and donned a grey sequined dress that cut at the bust and flows in pleats at the bottom because I knew the one-shoulder top would be overrated that night and I hate it whenever I’m right. *wink*.
We got home early not because Vudu wasn’t happening since Dj MissBehaving was at it on the dance floor but because I was sleepy. Divas need sleep, too, you know thats why I loved the energy I had for Sunday lunch where Rj, Marnelli, Sara and I hobnobbed the buffet table of Table 7. We were the only people there until 2pm and I took my throne at the piano bar and played ballads at the resto’s Yamaha. I missed the soft tap on the keys while my nails grazed them, entranced, transfixed as though a magnet has been installed somewhere inside and my fingers were metal. They kept laughing because I couldn’t play the song till it ends – the Intro girl. Have you heard of the Intro Girl who plays nothing but introductions of the song? Ehem.
Four days had passed by too and I was getting bummed that my beau didn’t text when on cue a good morning message with God involved entered into my inbox and made my entire day. He had been home last night, we could have hung out. Ugh. He felt bad that he didn’t’ tell me that it was also his rest day – how could anyone forget that? He is fast becoming a bore and I told him that but I still like him anyway. He is my bore. Lol. I immediately told him that I was out last night and I was with male friends. Hmm, defensive.
I learned something from Sara today, who by the way, is also in the brink of an emotional breakdown because her pseudo-boyfriend is leaving her for Manila because of a new job.

Toodsie. I have a wedding to attend to later. A friend of an ex-boyfriend called me because she’s been tracking me down for days and I completely forgot to tell her that I have a new number. Seeing the exboyfriend at the wedding is going to be so much as fun as getting my teeth drilled but I’m in for the event, the dress up and the pictorials. I’m sure by now O is conjuring up my outfit and laying down all my clothes when I get home. Muah:)
