The next day after our Hongkong Disneyland trip and Modern Toilet visit, the group was scheduled to leave for Macau early morning. Well, I just had to post outside our hotel ahahah. Behind me, ladies and gents, is the Peninsula Hotel in Kowloon Hongkong. Bow.
Again, after a series of subways, trains and escalators, we waited at the Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal Shun Tak Centre at Sheung Wan (500PHP if you can say that without trouble for 2 seconds) for our Turbo Jet ride to Cotai Strip.
I have to agree with Warren. We could have made Macau as our last stop for the Hongkong trip because it will save us time. See, going to Macau from Hongkong is almost a 4hr ride by their fast craft. For TurboJet, they have a promo where you will only pay HKD$176 instead of the usual HKD $236 charge for Super Class accommodation if you use a Visa card for 4 people. Since there were eight of us, we used my VISA and Warren’s and we saved HKD$60 or P360. Not bad, yes? Another reason why it is always best to go in groups!
Waiting at the terminal in Hongkong took 900 photos
YUM! Some Hungarian sausage, pasta and juice.
I got this Hershey balls inside this cute tin can at some convenience store. I wish our convenience stores in the Philippines have this.
photo by Warren – at the Super Class Accommodation – I feel like VIP – free everything from water to food
Almost three hours of fooling around made us this tired
Finally arrived! The weather was 12 degrees COLD!!!!! JEEEZAWSSS!!
We had to cross to get on the free shuttle to Venetian Hotel. I love their hotels! So tourist friendly. We didn’t pay ANYTHING just to go around Macau because number one, our destinations were hotels and number two, we didn’t have that much time go around Macau.
I love bathroom shots 🙂
Sigh… I want to go back here! The clouds you see above are fake and sometimes you’ll only realize that when you noticed how warm it is inside.
The Grand Canal Shops! I didn’t go on the San Luca Canal gondola ride because I was busy shopping.
Their sea of fastfood places!
That’s how tired I was! Nobody knows me there anyway. Behind me is the Duty Free of Venetian Hotel. Hahaha. Love it, love it. I just have to show you how the Venetian Hotel looks like from the outside. This photo was tekn from Flickr.
So pretty! Next stop – WYNN MACAU!
Bathroom shot again at Wynn Macau!
So Rodeo Drive-ish
So many shops – so little time!
The Tree of Prosperity Show at the Wynn Macau happens every 30 minutes from 7:00pm. We were half expecting Malakas and Maganda to come out until we realized they don’t have that kind of urban legend in their lives. You can perhaps watch a video of how the show is here.
CITY OF DREAMS Macau
Now going back, did I tell you that their terminal (smelly and all) has coin-operated massage chairs?
Literally going gaga over this!
LAST STOP – MCDO! Till next!
