May 15, 2010 – The four hour ride to Maya was not at all pleasant and the province of Maya had powder for land that just piles on your face when the bus passes by it. From Cebu, you can always get on one of the buses at the North BusTerminal.

Checked-in baggage, yes.
When you get to Maya, you will not miss this small store. They sell everything from coke zero sakto size to Vicks.
The boat ride costs about 50. Small boat, huh?
We stayed at Mike’s and Diose’s Cottage in Malapascua. They had huge cottages that can house eight (8) people in it for only P1,800. The thing is, you had to pay an extra P150/person because the P1,800 charge was only good for two. I never did understand it though because the house has one double bed on the first floor and the second floor has two single airbeds and two double beds. Shouldn’t he just have charged the entire place all at one time? It has a kitchenette and one large bathroom, too. I’m pretty sure the guests who stay there wouldn’t mind paying extra for all that space.
These are the restaurants by the sea. So many, so pricey! Hahah.
