The boyfriend and I brought Prince Sebastian to the vet a few Saturdays ago for pet grooming in Cebu and when his hairstylist (oh, diba!) said it might take him time to get the job done, we decided to head out for lunch at IT Park’s newest addition of restaurants, Wanna Eat. For Librans like me who take one million years to decide on what to order, I was greeted with THREE menus – Brasco Pizza, MyJoy and Butterbean. You can just imagine the agony! Good thing Joven wasn’t THAT hungry.
Let’s dwell a bit on Butterbean’s cooler, shall we? Aah, the sumptiousness of it all! This is what life is made of – Butterbean brownies!
Ended up with these 2pc fried chicken meal
Fish fillet meal (cream dory, yum!)
and MyJoy’s ultimate special – the grilled pork belly!
plus, their famous ice tea shake
Now while I was going through their coolers again, (it just draws you in like magnet!) Ingrid Espina, the store’s Marketing Exec suggested I should try their version of the brownie ala mode – Butterbean’s Crazy Bliss.
It is TO. DIE. FOR. Ask them to warm the brownie a bit longer so that the ice cream will melt right away when you eat it. SUPERB! Texture is just right – soft and chewy! I don’t think this is one of those desserts that I will want to share with anyone. Get your own Crazy Bliss! Hahaha.
Our meals were P300 plus the Crazy Bliss at P99. Everything is tasty and normally you would pay more for the kind of food we had but that’s the best part about Wanna Eat since their meals are affordable and delish! Can you imagine Wanna Eat/MyJoy (formerly MacJoy) serving good food for 20 years and never faltered at. all?
The interior of Wanna Eat screams fun, outgoing and yes-I-want-to-stay-here-longer-you-might-think-of-dragging-me-away. Should you decide to hang out, the store has free wifi available and charges you a fee for charging just in case your gadget’s battery run out. (see poster below) Not bad, right? Starbucks or any other establishment might NOT bill you for charging but considering the amount of money you spend on their coffees (plus the 100/hr internet usage), hell, the outlet usage charge is already generous! The first hour is already free anyway.
Wanna Eat Cebu is located at the eBloc Tower, Asiatown IT Park. The restaurant is open from Monday-Saturday 11am-4am and Sundays from 12nn-10pm. Reservation for special occasions is accepted even outside opening hours. For delivery, Wanna Eat’s phone number is:
(032) 511 40 18.
