BRING OUTTT THE BIZROCKERS!
Don’t tell anyone i said that out loud. I HEART this place, OUTPOST. On Saturdays where a made up house is the best place to be, OUTPOST screams HOME SUHWEET HOME. I just know that made up houses in CEBU always have a huge following from Veranda to Casa Verde and now this.
A wooden staircase meets a huge patio where people mill on the ledges with friends as if its just an ordinary birthday party that they are attending to and the sala is already crowded so they opted to stay outside. That is exactly how it looks like from the outside –any regular birthday party where the hosts invited too many guests to accommodate their house. Opening huge double doors takes you to The LIVING ROOM that is crowded with several tables and chairs for dining and drinking where they all face an elevated stage in the corner for instruments to populate and band members to play with. Across the stage is the bar where –i love this part – a yellow kayak(!) is hung on top of it as decoration or for a drunk guy who passes out there could easily be fallen on to.
… and NO KIDS. Or no one I see that yells I-AM-A-MINOR-I-AM-GOING-OUT-BECAUSE-I-AM-COOL on their foreheads. It was a NEW crowd. Laidback, fun, relaxed – no pressure on the dress code because glam is overdressed. I’m appalled yet refreshed. If bands took a breather, the DJ mixes World Music. Nothing of the conventional house and chillout lounges here, No, no. It is raw, unique, refreshing and well, nice. Its like the FUSION cuisine for the AUDITORY NERVES. Err, EARS ba. Putomayo releases world music and they are sold at any Bo’s coffee outlet. Lol. Nag-adlib pa ang bruha. The girls and I enjoyed Cattski play until hunger pangs kick in at 2am where thanks to Gooda Good the ulcers were taken care of. They went to Mountain View while I had to bail for an hour to go see Chi-Span guy who introduced me to his friends and *some text missing* where we *some text messing*.
He took me back to Starmart, Banilad where everyone had a ice cream(?) and he doesn’t wanna say hi because he was shy. Didn’t he just gone past shy when he whisked me away with my friends for an hour?
We were all home at 6am with Cat who just came from Manila about to become Cebuana was already splackkkked out and going, “Guyyyys, this is too much. You have to take me home.”
Poor girl. Didn’t really have that much tolerance for morning after parties. She will learn. She will learn.

Sacred Heart Church on Sunday morning and my prayers were for my mom and the everybody else in the Philippines who is taking the BAR EXAMS. Good luck to you guys. Lunch was at Table 7 with the people from the House of Fab who couldn’t eat another morsel after heavy munckins, Macaroni and refillable ice tea. Thanks to the chef, he must have known us by now to actually let me play the piano. Muah. Muah.
Apol, a highschool friend and girlfriend of gawsy Anton, texted because we were meeting boys that night at Marriott Hotel with Joan, another friend from Dumaguete. No, no one I hang out with is from Cebu anymore. Booze, chillout music and men were at Room 6*3. The men were from Manila who were bored of their asses they decided to venture into Cebu. I was holding fort to the booze show (sounds like boob show) and getting them all riled up with the I’VE NEVER HAD game where one gets to say something she’s never done in her life and if anyone in the circle has done it gets to take a swig of their drinks –FUNDADOR and SPRITE at hand. Me—a non-drinker actually drinking hard. Gulp.
There were a series of “I’ve never hads” and I cannot believe the number of shots I had to take. Makes you wonder. Bwahaha. And isn’t it just likely that most of the sentences always have the conjugation of DO in it. “I’ve never DO, DID, DONE, HAVE DONE, HAD DONE..” waaaahh.. I’m being HAUNTED!
I saw the UA&P guy playing piano at Marriott and he in turn saw me going up the elevator with the men. Scratch any notion of ever dating him anymore. Sniff. Sniff. No more ‘sunod ako’ in the future. Punyenta. The only potential date i wanted and I foiled it. The legends of the Fall. The Falling Out. Haha.
