The joy of realizing that you can actually make a meal out of leftover vegetables is overwhelming. I saved money and I saved the environment from throwing away rotten food. How’s that for size? When the boyfriend forced me to at least have vegetables in my system sometime, he bought a pack of string beans along with our groceries and I am stumped with what to do with it… until this.
Now how did string bean-ful of bowl got turned into this?
1 clove of garlic
1/4 kl string beans
1/2 cup tomatoes, sliced
1/4 kl ground pork
1. Wash the string beans.
2. Cut the ends of the string beans. I don’t really understand the logic because some would just leave them alone but my mom told me to always slice off the ends just like how we are taught to slice off the top part of the onion bulb.
3. Slice off the top of the tomatoes.
4. Sautee garlic
5. Toss in the rest of the ingredients.
6. Cook until tomatoes are tender.
Voila. There goes your food porn for today.
